It really wasn't much off a day off other than we didn't drive. We planned on having some pool and chilling time but by the time we got all the other things done, the blog updated and postcards written, a storm blew in and we were exhausted so no pool. Maybe tommorrow at Thermopolis, WY, the worlds largest Hot Spring.
Wanda took some pics downtown when we were running our errands. Cheyenne is a big Railroad town with a huge switching yard and a neat old depot. Wish we would've had time to check it out.
Cowboy sign downtown
old bank
Oil change after 6300 miles- They did have quick service while we waited. I probably won't be back at 3500 miles for the next one.
**** I got way behind on the blog when we spent the night in Tucson with my cousin Cindy, catching up on family stuff and the night in Las Vegas. So I went back and finished the pictures and comments from the other days so please check some of the previous posts from Tucson to the present.
Tommorrow, we're following the Oregon Trail from Scottsbluff west. Day 22, the half way point!
